Pumpkin Patch Fun at Pingle's Farm Market

Happy thursday girls! When it comes to fall, I am for sure one of those annoying people who just cannot wait for the last couple of weeks of summer to be over with & to be able to fully embrace all the cozy sweaters, hot apple cider, pumpkin spice lattes and the crisp chill in the air. There’s just something about it all that makes my little heart all warm and fizzy. This year is my daughter’s second visit to a pumpkin patch and this mama was oh so excited for her. I researched for WEEKS in advance looking for the best pumpkin patch in the Durham Region that is ideal for photography and this year we decided on the beautiful Pingle’s Farm Market in Clarington.

As soon as we got to the property, I knew I had made the right decision. This place is absolutely stunning and there is truly something for everyone - from apple picking, giant corn maze, pumpkin patch, farm animals, and wagon rides. On this particular day, it was a bit on the chillier side so we wanted to get some photos of Harper with the pumpkins first thing and should we have time after, we would proceed to the apple orchards. To say the very least, Harper thoroughly enjoyed playing and touching the orange and even cream pumpkins!

Of course, we had to pick out a little special treat at the bakery and we were so impressed with not only their selection of pies and tarts but they also had sugar free options as well. We ended up snagging a couple jars of jam, pecan pumpkin pie and for someone who does NOT like pumpkin pie (yes I know I said it) this pie is absolutely delicious and for sure a must try if you are visiting Pingle’s Farm Market. Unfortunately, we were tight for time and couldn’t make it to the apple orchard but nonetheless, we all had a great time.
