Winter Skincare Routine For Dry Skin
When it comes to winter, my skin HATES me. As soon as the weather gets remotely cold, my skin gets so insanely dry which causes my eczema to severely flare up leaving my skin so incredibly bumpy & scaly looking. In addition to totally switching some of my skincare products, I also focus heavily on my nutrition by making sure I drink at least 9-10 glasses of water a day, consume foods that contains anti inflammatory properties, limit my dairy consumption, and increase my omega 3 in take as well. Below are some products I’ve recently discovered and have been working well for my extremely dry skin.
Derma E Vitamin E Skin Oil - after I have cleansed my skin & while it is still damp, I gently press the Derma E Vitamin E oil onto my skin ensuring I let all the wonderful benefits soak right in. Vitamin E is so amazing for your skin as it contains antioxidant properties which slows down signs of aging, reduces UV damage, and in addition to that, it deeply penetrates to nourish, soothes, softens, and rehydrates the skin. For those who has eczema, I’ve been applying a thin layer onto my inflamed spots and it has been helping a lot. Kindly note: vitamin E oil is extremely oily so apply with a very thin layer to start.
Derma E Vitamin E Severely Dry Skin Creme - I apply a thin layer on my face as well as down my neck about 3-4 minutes after letting the vitamin E oil soak in. Please note, this cream is VERY hydrating and a very little goes a long way. If you have dry to severely dry skin, this product is truly a gift from above!
Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream - this has been my OG and has been my tried and true for years. It brightens, depuffs, and hydrates - need I say more?
